Hello Blogging world!!

This is my first post, and as such I thought it would be a good idea to have my first picture be a self-portrait and to let you know why I am doing this and what you should expect from this blog.

As a native Coloradoan I have been blessed with being able to view one of God’s most beautiful canvases each and every day. That being said, in this fast paced world we now live in that beauty often passes by unnoticed and unappreciated. Amid the hustle and bustle of everyday life we forget to stop and take a wider and more appreciative view of all that is around us. I am no exception to this. A few years ago I began to develop a passion for photography. I found that capturing that one fleeting moment in time allowed me to return to it and contemplate all that God had packed into it. I realized there was much I was missing, or just not seeing what was to be appreciated right in front of me. I was in need of a paradigm shift – a shift in the way I was viewing the world – and photography is that way.

Here at ParadigmLens my hope is that, through my photography, you too can experience a paradigm shift and see every day moments, people, places, events in a whole new light.

So take some time, look around and share with us what these photographs might be saying to you.
